This knot was originally a sailors term, also called the Sailor’s knot. Fisherman would attach the knot to a fishing net, held between two boats from one trawler to another. Boaters also use it to transfer lines between ships and to the shores. While still used in this fashion among boaters, fishermen, campers and hunters, this functional knot has evolved into a multi-tool with limitless uses. They are also commonly used as boat ties, anchor pulls, keychains, key floats, toys, pitching tents (stakeless), rock climbing anchors, water rescue devices, drawer knob pulls, zipper pulls, auto-assistance pulls for the elderly and handicapped, book marks, dog pull toys, cat toys and luggage identification markers. All of our materials and items are manufactured in the U.S.A. with the highest quality materials.
